Five Rules of Aedolyn 1. Treat fellow members with respect. Characters may be as evil as they wish, but players must behave civilly and appropriately within the guidelines they are given. 2. Post only for what you create. Unless you have express permission, do not post for the actions and reactions of a player's characters; do not post for their possessions or their creations, in-character or out.
3. Use proper spelling and grammar appropriate for an English language writing community.
4. Behave realistically and act reasonably within the game's physical environment. Give other characters time to react to what your character does. Don't skip to distant locations without posting your movements through the areas along your path.
5. Remain true to the setting. Stay within the world's atmosphere of medieval fantasy, without industrial or other advanced technologies. Time travel is the same for all players and controlled by popular demand.
* Finally, follow what we like to call the Spirit of the Law. Try to do what is intended of words considered to be authoritative, not the literal (mis)interpretation—a technicality, loophole, or ambiguity—of the “letter” used to convey them.
