The History
To begin your journey into Aedolyn, you will need to know where its came from - what makes Aedolyn the depraved world that it is. Therefore, we recommend you begin by reading the Aedolyn History, specifically the Fifth and Sixth Ages. To understand fully how the Fifth and Sixth ages came to be, the First and Second Ages should supply you with enough backstory in mind.

Time Travel
While not uncommon in modern storytelling, the process of Time Travel is unique to Aedolyn. Time Travel is not required of any character however, if your character wants to pass through the Gates of Aedolyn, he/she must first know the rules in place.

Over time, Aedolyn was warped into something much different and less pleasant than before. Its terrain seemed to cringe with disgust forming deep ravines and valleys, humid swamps, and arid deserts. The land around Aratar, due to the constant fighting, took the most damage; all life was expelled forming a vast uninhabitable wasteland. At last, the earth had reached its limit and could take no more abuse and it cried out for help... Read More
